In a significant move to promote responsible pet ownership and control the animal population, the City Government of Taguig, through its Office of the City Veterinarian (OCV), is offering free spay and neuter services for cats and dogs, exclusively for Taguig City residents. This initiative aims to ensure the welfare of pets while also addressing concerns regarding stray animals.


Mayor Laarni Cayetano's administration emphasized the importance of this program in fostering a humane and healthy environment for both pets and their owners.

The free spay and neuter service is available strictly by appointment only, with no walk-ins accepted to ensure organized and efficient service delivery.



How to Avail the Free Spay/Neuter Service



1. Main Office


  • Location: #4 Model House, C6 Road - CDRRMO Compound Purok 1, New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City (near Hagonoy Pumping Station).


2. Satellite Office (EMBO)


  • Location: #16 Cadena de Amor St., Brgy. Pembo, Taguig City.

Important Reminders for Pet Owners


Punctuality: Bring your pet to the OCV at the scheduled time and arrive early.

Preparation: Ensure your pet adheres to all pre-procedure requirements, especially the fasting period (6-8 hours) before the surgery.

Strictly by Appointment: No walk-ins will be accommodated.

One Pet Per Owner: Only one pet per owner is allowed per scheduled appointment.

What to Bring on the Appointment Day

  • Must not have bitten a person in the last 14 days.

  • Requires 6-8 hours of fasting prior to the procedure.

For Dogs:
