Taguig City has officially opened applications for the Taguig Learners' Certificate (TLC) Scholarship Program for the School Year 2025-2026.


The program provides financial assistance to qualified students who wish to enroll in partner private schools for their junior and senior high school education.

The application period runs from March 5 to April 11, 2025. Interested applicants may submit their requirements at their chosen partner private school or coordinate with the Taguig Scholarship Office at Sen. Renato “Compañero” Cayetano Memorial Science and Technology High School.


Scholarship Benefits

Successful TLC scholars will receive:

  • ₱13,000 tuition fee support (Grades 7-10)

  • ₱18,000 tuition fee support (Grades 11-12, except those with DepEd vouchers)

  • ₱10,000 educational assistance annually for miscellaneous fees and school expenses, such as uniforms, books, and transportation

  • Eligibility to apply for the L.A.N.I. Scholarship when they enter college


Who Can Apply?

To qualify for the TLC Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Graduating from or have graduated from a public elementary school in Taguig and have studied in a public school in the city for at least three years.

2. Will enroll as a Grade 7 student in a partner private school.

3. Have good moral character, as certified by their school principal.

4. Have parents who have resided in Taguig for at least three years.

5. Have parents who are registered and active voters in Taguig for at least three years before applying.

6. Willing to voluntarily join the program with a signed parental consent form, ensuring parental guidance and support.


Applicants must prepare the following documents for submission:

  • Original Student Application Form
  • Certified True Copy of Form 137
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character from the school principal
  • Barangay Residency Certificate (at least one parent must have resided in Taguig for three years)
  • Photocopy of the applicant’s birth certificate
  • COMELEC Certification of at least one parent (issued after the May 9, 2022 election) – optional but recommended for faster processing
