The City Government of Taguig continues to bring swift and accessible public service to its communities through the BESTaguig (Barangay Express Service Taskforce) program.

BESTaguig, spearheaded by the Flood Control Task Force, aims to provide immediate and on-the-ground solutions to day-to-day issues affecting residents.

During its operations, the multi-agency team addressed concerns such as busted streetlights, clogged drainage systems, uncollected waste, mosquito breeding areas, and damaged sidewalks.

This showcased the seamless collaboration of various Taguig LGU departments:

Local Utility Office and City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office handled the replacement of busted streetlights, removal of hazardous hanging cable wires, and trimming of overgrown trees to ensure road visibility and safety.

City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) led street sweeping and proper waste management activities to maintain cleanliness in public spaces.

Sanitation Office conducted fumigation and misting operations to help prevent the spread of mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue.

City Engineering Office repaired potholes and worked on restoring damaged sidewalks, ensuring smoother and safer pathways for pedestrians.

Flood Control Task Force took charge of cleaning drainage systems and replacing broken manhole covers to prevent flooding.

Traffic Management Office repainted light posts and sidewalks, contributing to improved road safety and aesthetic enhancement.

City Veterinary Office extended services related to animal welfare and promoted awareness on responsible pet ownership.

Barangay Affairs Office facilitated the coordination of street sweepers and ensured smooth communication between the LGU and the community.
