This new al fresco home-grown restaurant in Bagumbayan brings us variety of Asian food such as Japanese, Singaporean and Hong Kong street food in Taguig.
RAI HAWKER FOODHOUSE
This garage-turned-into-restaurant inside Holy Family Village recently opened in June to serve the neighborhood with unique food choices from different Asian country origins.
The family, together with their friends, decided to start up a home-based business to strive amidst the pandemic. They are dreaming to make their village the next Kapitolyo or Maginhawa, something that Taguig doesn't have yet.
THE PLACE
Rai Hawker Foodhouse is located inside Holy Family Village, a known place in Bagumbayan. Getting here isn't a problem. PUJs with Pasig-Bagumbayan route pass by the entrance of the village every few minutes on a daily basis. Then take a walk heading to the restaurant which is near the gate.
To comply with today's standards in restaurants, Rai Hawker is set up in al fresco or open-air dining. They decorated the whole place with lights and instagrammable wall-art.
It's a perfect place to chill and hangout with friends and family.
Their menu is mainly made of different Asian cuisines from Japanese, Singaporean and Hong Kong.
They are known for serving big bowls of ramen which is the first in Bagumbayan area. Of course, you shouldn't miss to try their specialty - the Singaporean Hawker-Style BBQ Chicken.
