The City Government of Taguig is urgently seeking creative and highly skilled Video Editors to join its Public Information Office (PIO) team. Position Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, self-starter who can transform raw footage into compelling and visually stunning narratives.

Key Qualifications:


Residency: Must be a resident of Taguig City.

Education (Advantageous): A Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts, Mass Communication, Film, or other related courses is an advantage, though not strictly required.

Experience & Skills:

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in video editing for a variety of platforms, including social media, events, and other communication materials.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects.

  • Capability to edit both short-form content (like Reels, Stories) and long-form videos (features, documentaries, and AVPs).

  • Knowledgeable in enhancing video storytelling through the effective use of music, graphics, transitions, and visual effects.

Work Ethic:

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines while consistently maintaining a high-quality output.

  • Possesses strong attention to detail and is professional in handling feedback and revisions.

  • Exhibits creativity, initiative, and motivation to produce engaging and impactful videos.

  • Can work both independently and collaboratively with other teams, including writers, graphic artists, and social media specialists.

  • Highly organized, with excellent time management and communication skills.

  • Full-time availability is a must.

A Plus: Experience in advanced skills such as color grading and sound design is a bonus, and fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
