The Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) is a major transport hub in Metro Manila, connecting commuters to various destinations in Southern Luzon and beyond. If you're coming from the bustling commercial centers of Market! Market! or Bonifacio Global City (BGC), reaching PITX is relatively straightforward with several convenient options.

This guide will outline the best ways to get to PITX, whether you're starting directly from Market! Market! or from within BGC.

Option 1: Direct Bus from Market! Market!

This is the most direct and often the most convenient option if you are already at or near Market! Market!.

Bus Routes: Look for buses with the following routes

Taguig Metrolink: These buses typically ply the route between Taguig areas (including Market! Market!) and PITX.

Baclaran Metrolink: While their ultimate destination is Baclaran, many Baclaran-bound buses from Taguig will also pass through or terminate at PITX. Confirm with the bus conductor if the bus will go to PITX.

Where to Find Them: Bus stops for these routes are located in the designated bus loading in the C5 side of the mall.

Travel Time: Depending on traffic, the journey can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours.

Option 2: From BGC via EDSA Carousel

If you're starting your journey from within BGC, the most efficient way to get to PITX is by utilizing the EDSA Carousel bus system.

Step 1 - Get to One Ayala: From anywhere in BGC, take a BGC Bus to One Ayala. One Ayala is a major transport hub located at the corner of EDSA and Ayala Avenue.

  • BGC Bus Routes: Depending on your starting point in BGC, you can take various BGC Bus routes (e.g., Central Express, North Express, Arca South Express) that will have a stop at One Ayala. Check the BGC Bus app or signages for the most suitable route.

Step 2 - Board the EDSA Carousel at One Ayala: Once you arrive at One Ayala, proceed to the EDSA Carousel bus stop. This is a dedicated lane for the EDSA Carousel buses.

  • Direction: Make sure you are boarding the EDSA Carousel bus going in the southbound direction (towards Pasay/Paranaque).

  • PITX Stop: The EDSA Carousel has a direct stop at PITX. It's usually one of the last few stops on the southbound route, so you won't miss it.

Travel Time: The BGC Bus ride to One Ayala can take 15-30 minutes depending on traffic and your starting point in BGC. The EDSA Carousel ride from One Ayala to PITX can take another 30-60 minutes, again, depending on traffic conditions.

Tips for a Smooth Journey

Check Traffic: Metro Manila traffic can be unpredictable. Before you travel, check navigation apps like Waze or Google Maps for real-time traffic conditions to estimate your travel time.

Prepare for Crowds: Both Market! Market! and PITX are busy areas. Be prepared for crowds, especially during peak hours.

Have Small Bills: It's always a good idea to have small denominations of Philippine Pesos for bus fares.

Ask for Directions: Don't hesitate to ask bus conductors, terminal staff, or even fellow commuters for directions if you're unsure.

Stay Alert: As with any public transport, be mindful of your belongings and surroundings.

By following this guide, you should have a hassle-free journey from Market! Market! or BGC to PITX, connecting you to your next destination with ease.
