Taguig City University (TCU) has officially released the results of the TCU Scholastic Admission Test (TCU-SAT) and is set to accommodate more incoming freshmen for the upcoming academic year. This development comes in light of the high number of graduating students and the generally strong performance of test takers.
According to the announcement, the names of qualified applicants are arranged alphabetically and can be accessed through QR codes corresponding to the applicant's last name. The course each applicant qualified for is based on the preferences listed during the application process. Admitted students are reminded to strictly follow the schedule of their Pre-enrollment Health Assessment (PEHA) as listed beside their names.
How Scores Were Computed
The TCU-SAT results were based on a composite score:
- 40% came from the applicant’s Grade 11 and 12 academic performance
- 60% was derived from the transmuted raw score of the entrance exam
For ALS graduates, the evaluation was solely based on the exam score.
For full admission results, applicants are advised to click the link or scan the QR code corresponding to their last name as posted on TCU's official platforms.
PEHA Requirements and Schedule
The Pre-enrollment Health Assessment (PEHA) is a mandatory step before final enrollment. It will be conducted from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a cut-off for registrations at 3:00 PM. Students are required to bring the following:
- 1 black ballpen
- 2 passport-sized colored pictures
- 1 expandable envelope (color-coded based on the college the student belongs to)
College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) - Blue
College of Business Management (CBM) - Yellow
College of Criminal Justice (CCJ) - Brown
College of Education (CED) - Red
College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) - Green
College of Information and Communication Technology (CICT) - Violet
For Those Not on the List
TCU noted that additional qualified students may still be released depending on the turnout of enrolled students. The university also encouraged non-qualifiers to explore other higher education institutions within or outside Taguig. The City Government of Taguig continues to offer financial support through the Lifeline Assistance for Neighbors In-need (LANI) Scholarship Program.
The university emphasized its commitment to maintaining academic standards and managing space limitations, which is why not all applicants could be accommodated despite their interest.
