In a celebration of love and commitment, Taguig City invites couples who have shared five years or more of their lives together to participate in the Kasalang Bayan on February 1, 2024. This heartwarming event will take place at the Taguig Lakeshore Hall in Lower Bicutan, providing a memorable setting for couples to officially tie the knot.


For those eager to join this communal celebration, it's essential to act swiftly as there are only 75 slots available, and they will be allocated on a "First Come, First Served" basis starting today. The Kasalang Bayan aims to honor the enduring relationships that have withstood the test of time, acknowledging the commitment and love that have blossomed over the years.


To secure a spot in this special event, interested couples must submit the required documents to the City Civil Registry Office. The office, located at Taguig City Hall on Gen. Luna St., Tuktukan, is open from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays, from 8 am to 5 pm. The documents include:


Marriage License (if available): Couples are required to present their marriage license if they already have one.

Birth Certificate: A valid birth certificate is necessary for both parties.

Birth Certificate of Child/Children (if applicable): If the couple has children, the birth certificates of the children must be provided.

Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR): This document attests that neither party has a previous marriage.

Affidavit of Cohabitation: An affidavit confirming that the couple has been living together for five years or more.

Valid I.D. (excluding PhilHealth ID): A valid identification card is required for verification purposes. Notably, PhilHealth ID is not considered a valid ID.
