Philippine Passport

Driver's License

Issued by the Land Transportation Office (LTO), the driver's license is necessary for individuals who operate motor vehicles in the country. Obtaining an LTO driver's license involves passing both a written exam and a practical driving test to ensure road safety and competence.

Application Process: The application process typically involves completing the necessary forms, undergoing a medical examination, attending a driver's education seminar, passing a written exam, and demonstrating driving skills through a practical test. Once all requirements are fulfilled and fees are paid, the LTO will issue the driver's license.

Unified Multi-Purpose ID (UMID)

The Unified Multi-Purpose ID (UMID) is a government-issued identification card in the Philippines that integrates multiple identification systems into one card, including those for social security, healthcare, and government services. It serves as a convenient and efficient means of accessing various government benefits and services for Filipino citizens and residents.

Where to Obtain: Visit any Philippine Social Security System (SSS) branch nationwide. In Taguig, you can visit the SSS branch office located in SM Aura.

Application Process: Bring the filled out UMID application form and a valid ID then submit them to an SSS Branch. At SSS, you will undergo Biometric Data Capturing where they take a photo of you, your fingerprints, and signature.

Processing Time: 15 days to months


PhilHealth ID

The PhilHealth ID serves as a crucial document for accessing healthcare benefits and services in the Philippines, providing proof of membership and eligibility. It is issued to enrolled PhilHealth members and contains essential information such as the member's name, PhilHealth identification number, and other relevant details.


Where to Obtain: You can obtain your PhilHealth ID by visiting any PhilHealth office or satellite office nationwide. In Taguig, there's a PhilHealth LHIO at the 7th floor of SM Aura Tower

Senior Citizen ID

PRC ID

The PRC ID serves as an official document certifying an individual's professional licensure and qualifications in various fields. It is obtained through successful completion of licensure examinations administered by the PRC and is widely recognized as proof of competency and expertise in one's chosen profession.


Where to Obtain: You can obtain a PRC ID by visiting any Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) office or designated satellite centers across the Philippines.

Application Process: Go to a PRC office and submit the application form along with the required documents. Pay the necessary fees for processing and examination. You will undergo biometric data capture, such as fingerprint scanning and digital photo capture. Once your application is approved, claim your PRC ID at the designated releasing area, presenting your official receipt and any other required documents for verification.


TIN ID

The Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) ID is a government-issued identification card issued by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in the Philippines. It serves as proof of registration with the BIR and is commonly used for tax-related transactions and financial purposes.

Where to Obtain: You can obtain a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and its corresponding ID card from any Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) office nationwide.

Application Process: To apply for a TIN ID, you'll need to visit the nearest BIR office or its designated satellite office. Prepare the necessary documents, which usually include a valid government-issued ID (such as a passport, driver's license, or birth certificate) and any other supporting documents required by the BIR. Fill out the TIN application form provided by the BIR staff, submit your documents for verification, and undergo any required procedures, such as fingerprinting or photo capture. Once your application is processed, you will receive your TIN and TIN ID card, which serves as official proof of your taxpayer identification number.

NBI Clearance

NBI Clearance is a government-issued document in the Philippines that certifies an individual's lack of criminal record or any pending criminal cases. It is often required for various purposes such as employment, travel abroad, or obtaining licenses and permits.


Where to Obtain: NBI Clearance can be obtained from designated NBI Clearance Centers. As of the current moment, there is no designated NBI Clearance Center in Taguig. The closest center is located at Choice Market Ortigas in Pasig City. If you reside in the southern area of Taguig, you have the option to visit Ayala South Park in Muntinlupa City.

Application Process: Secure an appointment online through the NBI Clearance website or walk-in directly to a nearby NBI Clearance Center. Complete the application form with accurate personal information and pay the corresponding processing fee. Proceed to the biometrics and data capture section for fingerprint scanning and photo capture. Wait for the release of the NBI Clearance, which can be claimed on the scheduled date or through express processing options, depending on the chosen method.

Processing Time: Within the day for NO HIT. Weeks for WITH HIT.


Postal ID

The Postal ID is a government-issued identification card in the Philippines, commonly used for various transactions and proof of identity. It is recognized as a valid form of identification accepted in both public and private institutions nationwide.

Where to Obtain: You can obtain a Postal ID from selected Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) branches nationwide. In Taguig, there are several PHLPost branches where you can submit your application for the Postal ID.

Application Process: Fill out and submit the application form along with the required documents such as a valid ID, proof of address, and application fee. Once approved, you can claim your Postal ID from the same branch where you applied.

Processing Time: Within the day.


Voter's ID

The Voter's ID is an official identification document issued by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) in the Philippines, primarily used during elections to verify a voter's identity and eligibility to cast a ballot. It serves as a crucial tool in ensuring the integrity and transparency of the electoral process across the country.

Where to Obtain: Individuals can apply directly at their local Commission on Elections (COMELEC) office. During voter registration periods, special registration centers may be set up in various public locations for added convenience.

2023 Update

The issuance of UMID, Postal ID, and Voter's ID has been suspended due to the introduction of the PhilSys National ID, which replaces these identification documents. Nevertheless, you can apply for the PhilSys National ID by visiting PhilSys branches located in Taguig.


It's important to note that the availability and requirements for these IDs may change over time, and individuals should check with the respective issuing agencies for the most up-to-date information on application procedures and requirements.
