The local government has announced an extension for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) registration at the Taguig City Hall, providing residents more time to secure their National IDs.
Originally scheduled for a shorter duration, the registration period at the City Hall Auditorium (2nd Floor) is now officially extended until June 30, 2026.
The initiative aims to accommodate "Taguigueños" who have yet to complete their biometrics and demographic data entry.
Key Registration Details
To ensure a smooth process for all applicants, the registration site will operate under the following guidelines:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
No Noon Break: The station will remain open during lunch hours to accommodate working citizens.
No Cut-off: The "First Come, First Served" policy will be strictly implemented without a daily limit on the number of applicants.
Service Scope: This specific site is dedicated to Registration Only. Residents are advised that the claiming or releasing of physical ID cards is not handled at this location.
Why Register?
The National ID serves as a valid proof of identity for both public and private transactions, streamlining applications for government services, social benefits, and financial accounts.
Applicants are encouraged to bring supporting documents, such as a PSA-issued Birth Certificate, UMID, or Passport, to facilitate a faster registration process.
For those living in Taguig, this extension offers a convenient window to fulfill the national requirement without the pressure of a looming immediate deadline.
