Taguig City University (TCU) has announced an opening for a Registered Guidance Counselor (RGC) to join its mission of "Transforming Excellence into Purpose." The university is actively seeking a qualified professional to contribute to the holistic development and well-being of its tertiary-level student body.
The position calls for a highly skilled and empathetic counselor to provide essential support services, reflecting the growing importance of mental health and academic guidance in the educational sector.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be eligible for the role, applicants must meet strict professional and academic standards:
Licensure: Must be a Registered Guidance Counselor with a valid PRC license.
Education: A graduate of BS Guidance and Counseling, Psychology, or Behavioral Science with a required Master’s degree (MA/MS/MAED/MAT) in Counseling or Guidance and Counseling.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of counseling experience, with a preference for experience gained in a tertiary-level setting.
Competencies: Applicants must demonstrate excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated competencies in research and program development are also essential.
