In a pioneering move to expand healthcare access and promote public health, the City of Taguig has officially rolled out its Door-to-Door HIV Counselling and Screening initiative, offering residents free, confidential, and convenient HIV testing right at their doorstep.
Aimed at encouraging early detection and reducing HIV transmission in the community, this program operates from Monday to Saturday, 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and caters especially to those with busy schedules or who may be reluctant to visit clinics.
The service is being carried out by trained HIV counsellors from the Taguig Social Hygiene Clinic, who are fully equipped with information materials and testing kits. These professionals will be making rounds across barangays in both District 1 and District 2, providing residents with vital health services in the comfort and privacy of their own homes.
Residents interested in availing of the service may contact the following hotlines:
District 1: 0960-508-1732
District 2: 0975-265-7466
For those who prefer walk-in consultations, the Taguig Social Hygiene Clinic Drop-In Center and Barangay Health Centers remain open for free testing and support.
This campaign aligns with Taguig’s vision of being a Transformative, Lively, and Caring city, addressing not only prevention but also the destigmatization of HIV/AIDS. It ensures that Taguigeños are informed, empowered, and connected to appropriate medical care and support services.
