Vehicle owners, drivers, and license applicants in Taguig are advised to direct their transactions to a new location following the official relocation of local Land Transportation Office (LTO) branches.
The LTO Taguig District Office (DO) and the LTO Taguig Licensing Extension Office (LEO) have officially transferred all operations to a new, permanent home in Western Bicutan.
The move aimed to provide a more spacious and accessible environment for the public, addressing long-standing congestion issues common in older agency branches. Following a brief transition period to calibrate equipment and set up network lines, full transactional operations successfully resumed at the new site last Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
Things to remember before going to LTO renewal center
- Research carefully and understand everything about driver license in the Philippines.
- Don’t forget to renew your license card before its expiration date. You will have to pay a fine up to Php 250 for a late renewal.
- Book LTO online appointment on the system. Remember to print out the proof of reservation.
- Prepare your medical certificate in advance.
- Complete the application form before heading up to LTO branches
- Bring alongside your expired license card
- Arrive at the LTO branch at least 30 minutes earlier.
- Be careful and stay away from the broker.

What This Means for Motorists
Both the District Office and the Licensing Extension Office are now fully operational at the Western Bicutan site. The consolidation of these offices at the new junction near Electronics Road is expected to streamline services, allowing the agency to handle a higher volume of daily applications for driver's licenses, student permits, and motor vehicle registrations.
Transactions are no longer being accommodated at the old facilities. Members of the public are highly encouraged to double-check their routes and plan their visits accordingly to avoid unnecessary travel delays.
