The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has issued Tropical Cyclone Bulletin #11, placing Metro Manila, including the City of Taguig, under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal Number 1 due to Tropical Depression Aghon.

Signal No. 1

Residents of Metro Manila can expect winds ranging from 30 to 60 kilometers per hour, which may cause generally very light damage to structures and vegetation. The public is advised to take necessary precautions and stay informed through official weather updates.

Yellow Heavy Rainfall Warning

In addition to the wind warning, PAGASA has also issued a Yellow Heavy Rainfall Warning for the entire Metro Manila region, as stated in Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 1 from PAGASA NCR-PRSD.

This warning indicates that light to moderate rain, with occasional heavy downpours, is expected over the next three hours.

Citizens are urged to remain vigilant and cautious of potential flooding and landslides in their areas. Authorities recommend staying indoors as much as possible, securing loose items outdoors, and ensuring emergency kits are prepared.

Local government units and disaster response teams are on standby, ready to assist in case of emergencies. The public is encouraged to monitor updates from PAGASA and follow any advisories from local officials.
