In a heartwarming display of camaraderie and assistance, a Taguig City Traffic Management Office (TMO) officer came to the aid of a stranded motorist in West Rembo, Taguig City.


The incident unfolded along J. P. Rizal in West Rembo when a vigilant motorist noticed another driver struggling to push a flat-tire motorbike. Fortunately, the observant motorist’s actions did not go unnoticed as a TMO officer was present to witness the situation.


Without hesitation, the TMO officer approached the stranded motorist and offered a free tow, exemplifying the spirit of compassion and public service.

The timely intervention underscores the importance of community support and highlights the effectiveness of initiatives like Roadside Emergency Assistance in the City of Taguig (REACT).

However, the man rejected the offer eventually.


REACT, a program designed to provide 24-hour free services from Monday to Saturday, offers a range of complimentary services aimed at addressing various roadside emergencies. These services include flat tire replacement, minor mechanical fixes, battery jump-starting, towing within Taguig's vicinity, vehicle refueling, and transportation to the nearest workshops or gas stations.

The incident, captured on a dashcam, serves as a testament to the dedication and commitment of public servants in Taguig City. It also serves as a reminder of the importance of being prepared for unexpected roadside emergencies.
