In a heartwarming initiative, the City of Taguig, through the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs, extended a helping hand to approximately 1,000 bedridden seniors residing across the city, including those from EMBO barangays.


Each recipient was provided with a carefully curated package designed to meet their essential needs. The package included:

  • 1 kilogram of adult milk
  • 1 kilogram of chocolate drink
  • 1 kilogram of oatmeal
  • 5 kilograms of rice

The distribution was meticulously organized by the City Social Welfare and Development Office in collaboration with the Taguig Association of Senior Citizens, ensuring that the assistance reached those who needed it most. In a remarkable display of community care, a team of dedicated doctors and nurses from the City Health Office participated in the distribution event. Alongside delivering essential goods, they conducted thorough medical check-ups and assessments for each recipient. Additionally, prescriptions and medicines were provided to facilitate continued healthcare and treatment, emphasizing the holistic support extended to the elderly population.
