Free birth registration services will be available on designated days for Taguig City residents starting February 3, 2024.


Residents who lack a birth certificate may acquire one during the initial session of free birth registration on February 3, Saturday, at the Calzada-Tipas New Barangay Hall, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.


Another session will be held on February 17, Saturday, at the Barangay Hall of North Daang Hari, also from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The final opportunity for free birth registration will be on February 24, Saturday, at the Barangay Hall of South Signal, again from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.



Parents must bring their marriage contract if wedded, along with four copies of the certificate of live birth, and a valid ID.

Unmarried parents must provide four copies of the certificate of live birth, a notarized affidavit of the father's admission of paternity, a notarized affidavit to use the father's surname, and a valid ID.

For late registrations, visit the Office of the City Civil Registrar at Taguig City Hall or the Mobile Birth Registration sites to obtain four copies of the registration form for the Certificate of Live Birth.

After completing the Certificate of Live Birth form in typewritten or computerized format, the Affidavit for Delayed Registration of Birth must be signed and notarized.

Married parents must secure a Certified True Copy of the Marriage Certificate from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) or the Local Civil Registry Office.

Unmarried parents only need to fill out the Affidavit of Acknowledgement Admission of Paternity found on the back of the Certificate of Live Birth form and the Affidavit to Use the Surname of the Father (AUSF). These documents should be signed and notarized.

They also require a copy of the Affidavit of 2 Disinterested persons who witnessed the birth, signed and notarized.


Additionally, they must obtain a Barangay Certificate from the Barangay Captain where the mother lived on the day of birth.

They should bring two of the following documents as proof of name, date, and place of birth to be registered:

a. Original Baptismal Certificate
b. Medical Certification or Immunization Card from the health center
c. Certified True Copy of Form 137/ School Records (for ages 7-17)
d. Certified True Copy of Voter's Registration (for age 18 and above)
