The City of Taguig organized a Fun Day for children with disabilities and a Wellness Activity for their parents at Vista Mall on November 16.
In celebration of the 31st National Children’s Month with the theme "Healthy, Nourished, Sheltered: Ensuring the Right to Life for All, 33 children enjoyed 3 hours of fun and learning at the indoor playground Kinder City, while their parents received free haircut, foot spa, and massage at the nearby Trade Hall.
Mayor Lani Cayetano attended the event, expressing appreciation for parents raising children with disabilities.
"Sana sa paraan pong ito ay maipadama namin sa mga magulang yung aming pag-recognize dun sa mabigat na pasanin pong ito, mabigat na challenge po na ito, at sana po magbigay sa inyo nang malinaw na mensahe na mahal po at nakikita kayo ng pamahalaang lungsod ng Taguig… I hope that not only the children but also the parents will enjoy this special day,” Mayor Lani said.
