Bambang is one of the 28 barangays of Taguig City in Metro Manila, Philippines. Barangay Bambang is under 1st Legislative district of Taguig (District of Taguig-Pateros).
Bambang is one of the 9 original barrios in Taguig's along with Bagumbayan, Hagonoy, Palingon, Santa Ana, Tipas, Tuktukan, Ususan and Wawa.
In 1974, the political division of Taguig was changed to barangay in accordance with the implementation of the Integrated Reorganization Plan (IRP) in the Philippines when the country was under Martial Law.
Because of the IRP, it was divided into 18 barangays, which included Barangay Bambang.
