This is the main and biggest river system in Taguig City.

The Taguig River (Tagalog: Ilog ng Taguig) is a river in the Philippines, a tributary of the Pasig River, eventually joining the Pateros River, forming the common border between Pateros and Makati.

The river is also between the streets of Makati, Pateros, Taguig, and Pasig, forming dead ends along the streets.

Every 26th of July, the city celebrates Taguig River Festival. The Sta. Anang Banak Taguig River Festival is held in Sta. Anna as a type of thanksgiving.

The devour is done to respect the town's benefactor Saint Anne, who as indicated by legend, accumulated the natives of "taga-giik" root of Taguig along the riverbank.

In January 2020, the DPWH completed slope protection structure along Taguig River.

Lake & River Management Office - Taguig is the local governing body that manages and control Taguig River.
