Application Process for Course Shifting
Students wishing to shift courses must follow these four essential steps:
Step 1: Obtain the Form
Students must first secure a Course Shifting Form from the TCU Registrar's Office.
Step 2: Secure Endorsements
Once the form is obtained, students are required to fill it out completely.
They must then proceed to the Dean's Office of their Current Program for verification of their academic standing and eligibility to shift.
Following verification, the form must be brought to the Dean's Office of the New Program they intend to shift into, for evaluation and approval. This step ensures that the student meets the prerequisites and slot availability of the desired course.
Step 3: Submit Application
After obtaining all necessary signatures and approvals from both Dean's Offices, the accomplished application form must be submitted back to the Registrar's Office.
Step 4: Enrollment for Approved Shifters
Students whose course shifting applications have been approved will be scheduled for enrollment from July 9 to July 11, 2025. This specific enrollment period is designated for course shifters to finalize their new program registration.
This process provides a structured approach for students to explore academic paths that better align with their interests and career goals. Students are encouraged to carefully review the requirements of their desired new program and seek academic advising if needed before initiating the application.
For any further inquiries or clarifications, students may visit the TCU Registrar's Office during office hours.
