The local election landscape in Taguig is heating up as Team Lani Cayetano (TLC) officially filed their Certificates of Candidacy (COCs) on Monday, October 7, 2024.
Led by incumbent Mayor Lani Cayetano, the entire slate is vying for various positions in the 2025 local elections under the TLC banner.
Lani Cayetano is seeking re-election for the mayoralty, and she will face off against Arnel Cerafica, a familiar opponent in Taguig’s political arena.
Arvin Alit, the running mate for vice mayor under TLC, will also be contending for the city’s second-highest post.
In the race for the congressional seats, incumbent Taguig-Pateros District Representative Ading Cruz will be facing two strong contenders—Allan Cerafica and Lino Cayetano, the former Taguig mayor and Lani's brother-in-law.
