Face shields are now required by IATF at ALL TIMES and PLACES

As per the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) resolution No. 88 issued last December 14, it is now mandatory for people to wear full face shields on top of face masks when going outside of your homes in order to help curb the transmission of COVID-19.

As the holiday season approaches, more people will be out and exposed. Let us make Taguig City safe by wearing your face mask and face shields at all times.

For better protection, everyone is advised to only wear a proper face shield and face mask. A face shield must be clear and have full coverage of the face from eyes to chin including the sides. A face mask must fit snugly on your nose and chin and dont leave gaps on the sides but still able to breathe with ease.

The City Government imposes penalties on any person who fails to follow the minimum health and safety protocols. A fine (not exceeding to P5,000) according to the nature of offense or a community service shall be rendered.

Adhere to health protocol and guidelines and let us all work together in beating this epidemic as we thrive to the new normal.
