Did you know that there are 4 business districts in Taguig?

BGC is known for being one of the leading business districts not only in Metro Manila, but in the whole country. Not known to many others that there are more financial centers in Taguig City.

Here are the 4 financial districts in Taguig:

Bonifacio Global City (1995)

Bonifacio Global City, famously known as BGC, is a commercial hub known for glitzy shopping areas like Bonifacio High Street, filled with big-name brands and flagship stores. Upscale global restaurants mix with cocktail bars, hip cafes, and mainstream nightclubs.

The district experienced commercial growth following the sale of a 440-hectare military base at Fort Bonifacio by the Bases Conversion and Development Authority.

At One Bonifacio High Street, the PSE Tower, which houses the unified trading floor of the Philippine Stock Exchange, the Shangri-La at the Fort, Manila and Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila are also located here.

Grand Central Park is a 10-hectare (25-acre) New York-inspired mixed-use development located in North Bonifacio Global City. One of the tower in the area is the 65-storey Metrobank Center which houses the Grand Hyatt Manila hotel and is currently one of the tallest skyscrapers in Metro Manila.

The Forbes Town Center is Megaworld's 5-hectare (12-acre) township community, where 8 Forbestown Road, Forbeswood Heights, Forbeswood Parklane, and Bellagio condominiums are located. It has a combination of low-density residential development, shopping strip, dining outlets, and other service facilities.

Uptown Bonifacio is a 15-hectare (37-acre) property located in the northern district of Fort Bonifacio. In recent years, Megaworld Corporation launched new residential condominiums in the area, namely Uptown Parksuites, Uptown Ritz, and One Uptown Residence, with Uptown Arts on the way. The mixed-use business and commercial developments in the area cater to midder and upper class markets. The area is near the zone where the British, Japanese, and American international schools, and other local schools are located. Moreover, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls also built Uptown Mall and Uptown Parade in the area; Uptown Place Towers 1 to 3 are also built above the mall.

The Mind Museum offers hands-on science displays, while the Manila American Cemetery honors WWII soldiers.

Colorful street murals make the area popular for strolling. Definitely, one of my favorite cities in Metro Manila.

Arca South (2012)

Arca South is an on-the-rise business and lifestyle district in Taguig City. Developed within the former FTI complex, Arca South serves as the metro’s latest gateway, connecting key cities and superhubs, such as Makati City via SLEX, and Bonifacio Global City via C5.

The 74 hectares of mixed-use development presents a quality of life with myriad opportunities for growth – best estate practices, diverse retail options, residential developments, and an intermodal transport system.

Efficient urban planning integrates green spaces and refreshing streetscapes throughout the district. An integrated basement parking frees the streets, increasing pedestrianization and connectivity. Through a centralized operation system; traffic, power, and security management are attuned to the needs of the community.

Mckinley Hill (2006)

Inspired by cities in Italy and Spain, the 50-hectare McKinley Hill—Megaworld’s largest township development in Metro Manila—brings to the Philippines the sophisticated culture of Southern Europe.

McKinley Hill

The combination of upscale, exclusive residences, premium-grade offices, and topnotch dining and leisure areas offer uniquely vibrant and complete lifestyle experiences to those who wish to be part of McKinley Hill.

McKinley Hill is located beside Bonifacio Global City, making it among the most prominent central business districts in Metro Manila. It is directly connected to C-5 Road, and is easily accessible to other main road arteries in Metro Manila, such as EDSA and other key expressways.

Mckinley West (2014)

McKinley West is Megaworld’s 34.5-hectare ultra-high-end township on the former JUSMAG property in Fort Bonifacio beside Forbes Park and Manila Polo Club.

Mckinley West

Aside from an exclusive residential village where lots have appreciated as much as 110 percent since its launch in 2010, McKinley West will have rows of luxury residential estates, which will include properties having their own state-of-the-art security features and first-of-its-kind luxury amenities.

The posh residential enclave will be supplemented by a modern business district, living up to the lifestyle of the neighboring Forbes Park. Residents and people working in McKinley West enjoy direct access to McKinley Hill, as well as more convenient access to Fort Bonifacio, South Luzon Expressway, C5 Road and the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
