TAGUIG CITY COVID-19 CASE UPDATES

The city of Taguig has recorded 102 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. 179 new recoveries were reported yesterday, August 30. The total number of confirmed cases in the city was 4,713, the recoveries were 4,137 and 44 died. Currently, the number of active cases being monitored is 532.

Every day the number of recorded recoveries in our city continues to increase. These recoveries totaled 4,137 on August 29. The local government ensures that the number of recoveries will continue with the tireless work of Taguig City to defeat the COVID-19 virus.



The new COVID-19 cases are from Brgy. Bagumbayan (4), Bambang (1), Calzada (2), Hagonoy (2), Ibayo-Tipas (1), Ligid (2), Lower Bicutan (8), New lower Bicutan (14), Sta Ana (4) , Tuktukan (7), Ususan (7), Wawa (10), Central Bicutan (2), Central Signal (1), Fort Bonifacio (4), Maharlika (2), North Signal (2), Pinagsama (2), South Signal (20), and Western Bicutan (7).

The increase in the number of recorded cases reflects the efforts of our government to deliver services to the people through active case finding and testing. The city of Taguig has also conducted 38,447 PCR tests through the SMART testing program including drive-thru testing, testing conducted from health centers and testing by the City Epidemiology Disease and Surveillance Unit (CEDSU).
