The Taguig government continues to intensify its anti-dengue operations with the simultaneous cleanup drive on Friday.
The massive cleanup, which was participated in by the community, Taguig City Hall employees and other stakeholders under the Department of Health's Sabayang 4 o'clock habit para sa Deng-Get out activity, covered areas in the city including the city hall, barangay halls, public and private schools, barangay health centers, super health centers, the Taguig-Pateros District Hospital, the Taguig City University, Sentro Kalinga, daycare centers, police stations, public transportation terminals and public markets.

Communities are encouraged to do the cleanup daily at 4PM to destroy possible breeding sites such as laundry tanks, uncovered tanks/cisterns, drums and barrels, discarded buckets and other containers, among others, being targeted, all under the government's 4S strategy: Search and destroy all mosquito breeding sites; Self protection measures like mosquito repellants; Seek early consultation, and Say YES to misting.
