Taguig City Tourism Office officer-in-charge Ms. Zaida Ignacio joined the visitors and members of the vegan community as they gathered at the BGC Arts Center for this year’s VegFest Pilipinas where all-vegan stalls were established showcasing delicious and healthy food.
The two-day event —which ran from November 17 to 18— were filled with heaps of vegan food like cakes and doughnuts, among others, which were made using plant-based ingredients. The event also aims to primarily “fight off animal agriculture that contributes to global warming.”
